Vegetable Oil

Digeoris sells vegetable oils, manufactured from Ukrainian-grown plants using pre-pressing and chemical extraction. Our oils retain their natural flavour, smell, and colour, and can be imported in the US, EU, and other territories. We provide wholesale suppliers, retail chains, and other bulk customers with high-quality oils at affordable prices.

Digeoris oils are produced at the HACCP/FSSC-certified facility and satisfy the EU Regulations, including 1881/2006 with the latest amendments.

Sunflower Vegetable Oil

Sunflower oil is a food-grade vegetable oil, commonly used in Eastern-European cuisines. It is cheap, has high production yields and overall is much healthier than other bottom-shelf vegetable oils. Sunflower oil can be refined, which removes its strong natural smell and color, making it perfect for frying and baking. Unrefined oil is used as a supplement in pet feed.

Sunflower oil has lower freezing point and could theoretically produce vegetable oil fuel that remains liquid at slightly lower temperatures. However, canola biodiesels are more efficient and stable at similar production costs. So in terms of manufacturing vegetable oil biodiesel, sunflower oil remains a niche product.

Soybean Vegetable Oil

Soybean oil is one of the most popular vegetable oils when it comes to cooking. It has the highest smoke point among all conventional vegetable oils and is commonly used for frying and baking. In Mediterranean cuisine, it is also a salad dressing, although olive oil is preferred.

Outside the food industry, soybean is only used for production of some oil paints and several kinds of ink. There are also several manufacturers of vegetable oil biofuel made of soybean, and the latest statistics showcase that soybean biodiesel holds over 50% of the market.

Canola Vegetable Oil

Canola (or rapeseed) oil is a very common fattening agent in the commercial food production, far exceeding sunflower and olive oils. It is a major component in pet feed due to high availability and low price. However, when it comes to home cooking, canola hasn’t seen as much of a success and remains more of a novelty.

Canola oil is also a major source of vegetable oil diesel — a highly efficient and environmentally friendly fuel. The production of biodiesel from rapeseed vegetable is slightly costlier than alternatives, although high fuel efficiency and relative simplicity of process more than compensate for it.
